The Alaskan Malamute HELP League is the largest association of Malamute owners in Canada. The AMHL is a Canada-wide registered charity dedicated to working with shelters, rescue groups and the public, to provide: education; information; support in finding lost and stolen dogs; encouragement and recognition of responsible dog ownership and achievement; assistance in placing Alaskan Malamutes at risk; and, as a last resort, providing hands-on rescue in Canada wherever possible.

Bullies in Need (BIN) is a non-profit dog rescue based in Ottawa, Ontario, with several helpful chapters throughout Ontario. They pride themselves on the quality of loving dogs they rescue while working with shelters saving the bullies (and sometimes non-bullies) off of death row. Bullies in Need has fostered great relationships with shelters and they truly believe that the animal control, shelter staff and volunteers are the heart and soul behind saving the abandoned animals that our society leaves behind.

Cat Rescue Groups |
The Cat Rescue Network was established in 1999 in order to bring together, in an informal partnership, animal welfare organizations and committed individuals to address gaps in the delivery of animal welfare services for homeless cats. Our primary goal is to give apparently unadoptable cats a second chance.

The Ferret Rescue Society of Ottawa and Area is a registered Ontario Not For Profit Corporation and a Federal Registered Charity. They are the only animal rescue group in the Ottawa area that aids ferrets in need. |

Rabbit Rescue Inc. is a registered charity dedicated to finding new homes for domestic rabbits that have been abused, abandoned or neglected. We work with numerous shelters across Ontario, as well as individual owners. A large number of rabbits come to us after being turned loose outside. |
